After the legal checks are completed, the private purchase contract — known in Spain as the arras contract — is prepared.

This contract officially records all agreements between buyer and seller.

From this moment, the purchase becomes legally binding under Spanish law.

Notary, Final Payment and Key Handover

The official transfer of ownership takes place at the notary.

You are present in person, or your lawyer signs on your behalf through a power of attorney.

I am always present at the notary and guide you step by step during this important moment. This way you know exactly what is being signed and everything can proceed calmly and clearly.

At that moment, the remaining purchase price is paid and the property is officially registered in your name in the Spanish property registry.

Even after completion, I remain available to assist with utilities, insurance and practical matters so you can start your new life in Costa Blanca North without stress.
